Editing Symbology Back To Welcome Page
The GeoHub NI Map Viewer allows the user to edit the symbology of any of the layers added to the map and also of the Basemap layers. This allows the user to customise their saved maps to the exact specifications required including the rendering of layers.
- To access the Symbology editor, right-click on the layer of interest in the Table of Contents and select Edit Symbology from the context menu.

- Within the Edit Symbology dialogue, there are a number of options for the user to specify the desired rendering of the layer.
- Each layer type (polygon, line and point) has its own Edit Symbology dialogue. Polygon layers have Fill (the inside of the polygon) properties, Outline properties and Label properties. Line layers have Line properties and Label properties. Point layers have Point properties and Label properties.
